Vplace, an accommodation and staffing solution provider in Australia, operates a unique dual-business model that required an integrated digital solution. They manage short and long-term property bookings across multiple locations while simultaneously providing staffing services to other businesses. Managing these two distinct yet interconnected services through separate systems was creating operational inefficiencies and limiting their growth potential.
We built a comprehensive CRM and website that seamlessly handles both sides of their business. The platform provides unified property management with multi-location support, integrated booking management for both accommodation and staff placements, real-time availability tracking, automated scheduling, and a customer-facing portal. This unified approach gives Vplace complete visibility and control over both accommodation and workforce management in one powerful platform.

Challenges
Vplace's biggest challenge was managing two different business models—property accommodation and staffing services—with limited integration between them. Property bookings were handled through one system, staff scheduling through another, and there was no way to cross-reference data or identify opportunities where both services could be provided to the same client.
The property management side needed real-time availability across multiple locations, automated booking confirmations, dynamic pricing based on season and demand, and maintenance scheduling. The staffing side required skill-based staff matching, shift scheduling, timesheet management, and compliance tracking. Both needed centralized reporting, streamlined communication with clients and staff, and mobile accessibility for on-the-go management.
Solutions
We developed a unified platform using modern web technologies that brings together property management and staffing services under one roof. The property management module features real-time booking calendars across all locations, automated availability updates, dynamic pricing engine, online payment integration, digital contracts and agreements, maintenance request tracking, and property inspection scheduling.
The staffing module includes intelligent staff matching based on skills and availability, automated shift scheduling and notifications, digital timesheet capture and approval, compliance document management, performance tracking and reviews, and invoicing integration with property bookings. The system's unified dashboard provides cross-functional insights, showing opportunities to offer both services to the same clients.
We built a responsive customer portal where clients can book properties, request staff, view invoices, and manage their account. A dedicated mobile app for staff enables them to view schedules, clock in/out, update availability, and communicate with management. The platform includes comprehensive reporting and analytics, automated reminders and notifications, and seamless integrations with accounting and payroll systems, creating a truly unified operation for Vplace.
